Martha Rose of Martha Rose Construction and Adrian Willanger of Eco-Redux will be at the Fish Singer Place Site October 2, 2010 from 10AM-4PM giving presentations and answering questions.

All the homes at Fish Singer Place have been certified by Energy Star, Building America and the Built Green programs.  Each of the homes have been designed and built to lessen the impact on the environment through integrating a “whole house system” approach.

Participants will get a chance to experience first-hand some of the unique features of these high-performance homes built on a low-impact-development. Willanger mentions “I’m not sure what the greatest benefits of these homes are, healthy indoor environment, energy savings, comfort or maybe just the feeling you’re doing the something good for the planet?  At first blush the homes look pretty harmless,  but don’t let that full you they have a strong undertow.“

The tour is free and the homes are located at 433 North Fish Singer Place Shoreline, WA. 98133.
